An Opportunity to Learn, Grow and Network: What a Way to Motivate!

On  Wednesday February 11, 2009, the Arkansas Apartment Association made it possible for everyone working in Property Management to receive the National Apartment Leasing Professional certification. The NALP certification is recognized nation wide, It was an amazing opportunity allowing office staff members from different management companies to come together for three days to network and establish lasting relationships with other professionals working in the same field!

The Instructors  were The Lynd Company Regional Manager ,Candance Sheppard, CPM,   Vice President AAA, Property Manager Capitol Hill ,Shatoria Daniels, CAM,   AAA Treasurer  District Manager Bailey Properties, Jennifer Gulledge, CAM and President AAA  Property Manager Overbrook Apartments ,Shelley Ellis, CAM.  You were positive examples and provided a fun, fresh, and an exciting approach that helped me to learn and incorporate the skills for my daily tasks. Thank you for  your words of wisdom and knowledge ,it has been a huge motivation.

Thank you Lanessa Stephens, AAA and Property Manager Chenal Lakes for allowing us to utilize your beautiful and spacious clubhouse.

A Special Thanks to all of the vendors : Mystical Carpets (Cleaning and Restoration), Apartment Hunters Little Rock,  Arkansas Apartment Association, Kwal Paint, Jane Gring, Dixie Rents, and News Letter Exchange.

Very Respectfully,

Alysia Austin,

Our House Needs Volunteers

AAA will be serving lunch to Our House residents on certain months throughout the year.  We are in need of volunteers for this simple and personally rewarding experience.  We start set up at 10:45 am and serve to the daycare, which consists of approximately 10 children.  Then serve to the adult learning center which is normally about 12-14 people.  Your duty as a volunteer is simple with just putting a serving of food on each plate and giving them a drink of their choice.  For lunch we serve something simple like sandwiches, pizza, etc.  You will see how gracious these people are and they would love to see you and talk to you.

Please contact Jamie to help with this wonderful cause; 501.664.8300 or information@arpartments.com
