I am pleased and honored to serve as your President for 2012. Our association has flourished within the last couple of years connecting our properties to our suppliers. This is due to the fact we have great leadership and unification which is key to growth. I know this year our growth will continue and I look forward to meeting new colleagues.
The board members for 2012 are fantastic , energetic, and full of exciting new ideas. They look forward to working with their committees to bring the best to the Arkansas Apartment Association. Here is a preview of what's on the calendar for 2012: Barbara Savona from Sprout Marketing will bring us "75 Ideas to Rock Your Socks" in January, Maintenance Mania Competition in March, Heather Blume from Behind the Leasing Desk will present "The Seven Deadly Sins of Property Management" in March, Business Exchange with a Mix & Mingle, Designation Courses, a benefit golf tournament in September, Volunteer work to assist other non-profit organizations, Network bowling event in July, Property Tours, enjoyable luncheons, numerous free maintenance & leasing seminars, fabulous Pinnacle Awards in December, and much more. I hope everyone will take part in one of the committees to help plan and promote these great events & activities. Everyone's opinion is important to the Arkansas Apartment Association to keep its foundation strong.
