President's Message

Hello Everyone,

My name is Shelley Ellis, property manager Overbrook Apartments.  I am pleased and honored to serve as your President for 2009.  Our association has flourished within the last couple of years connecting our properties to our suppliers.  This is due to the fact we have great leadership and unification which is key to growth.  I know this year our growth will continue and I look forward to meeting new people.

The board members for 2009 are fantastic and full of exciting new ideas. They  look forward to working with their committees to bring the best to the Arkansas Apartment Association.  Here is a preview of what's on the calendar for 2009:  Business Exchange-Mixer, NALP Course, a golf tournament benefiting CARTI, volunteer work at Our House, Network bowling event,  fun luncheons, a number of free maintenance seminars, and much much more.  I hope everyone will take part in one of the committees to help plan and promote these great ideas.   Everyone's opinion is important to the Arkansas Apartment Association to keep its foundation strong.
